Welcome to my homepage!
In May 1998, I graduated from
Hollins College (now Hollins Univeristy)
in Roanoke, Virginia. I graduated with a B.A. with a
chemistry
and a minor in
physics. While at Hollins I had the
wonderful opprutunity to have two wonderful internships one
at the
University of Umeå in the
Nutritional Studies Department. And the other at the
Environmental Research
Laboratory at one of the Swedish
University of Agricultural Sciences ,this one located in
Umea.
Since graduation I took some time away from life, but not for too long. I am now working as an intern at the
Radford University
Art Musuem where I, amoung other things, serve as webmaster.
Next August I will begin gradute school at Radford University,
I will be in the education department, with my goal being a job in museum education.

I must admit I spend too much time in front of the
television watching many different
shows.
It serves as a great distraction for my poor overworked mind. I am a
science-fiction junkie, and enjoy watching as many sci-fi shows
as I can.
When I cannot find one of these shows I
find myself watching CNN,
Headline News,
The Discovery Channel, A&E
and yes I must admit PBS,
you know public television.
When I get a chance I like to read just about anything I can get my hands on including, Martha Stewart Living, I also enjoy reading
works by
Douglas Adams,
Dean R. Koontz,
Patricia Cornwell,
Michael Crichton and
Mary Higgins Clark.

The thing that is almost a constant in my life is
music, it is a
rare occasion that I am not listening to music of one type or another.
I greatly
enjoy listening to
Dave Matthews Band,
the Barenaked Ladies,
and Innocent Nixon (whom I loved to hear live, espically at
South Main Cafe, in Blacksburg).
Lately the
"Sliding Doors" soundtrack
has
occupied my cd player almost 100% of the time. Also an amazing movie, highly recommended by me.

We are an online family again. My dad loves to surf, you would be amazed the things he finds. My younger sister,
Mary ,
is a freshman at Hollins Univeristy. She has many new
friends , that all have my pity.
My
dad
is getting pretty good at that computer stuff,
hopefully he will have a home page for you to check out soon. He is new to this
whole computer thing so he finds it frustrating sometimes but for an
old guy he is not doing too badly.
My
Mom works at Radford University, and
enjoys the web also.
And check out the friend I have know the longest,
Jessica. Ok, ok, so she doesn't update often (ever) but I must have a link to her. Other friends are on the web, but alas I have
lost their address, so I am searching and hope to find more soon.

me a line sometime.
People have been nice
enough to visit my page. Ok, ok it is broken but hey I like that huge number.
